在偏遠的南極洲，極稀有的裂齒蘚也會進入緊繃的休眠狀態。氣候變得越來越極端，它們啟動防護機制，適應乾冷的環境和臭氧層破洞後的氣候變化。這些現象顯示，地球上的每個角落都息息相關。很多事情不必套用蝴蝶效應理論，也能感受到它們之間的連動性：時間與空間中的事件互相影響。

蘇郁心以科學家的態度創作論文電影（Essai cinématographique），透過「編造自然」穿梭於過去與現在。《休眠》（hibernatemode）為雙頻道、六聲道錄像裝置，聲音由聲音藝術家楊博宇製作，帶領觀眾從 FENKO 空間出發，置身戶外大地，聆聽低氣壓下的蒼穹之聲。《思辨深度》（Speculative Depth）則使用 NASA 開放數據，帶觀眾回溯過去，化身時光旅行者。

Su Yu Hsin’s essayistic films traverse past and present. hibernatemode is a dual-channel, six-speaker installation with sound by Aloïs Yang, transporting viewers from FENKO to expansive landscapes under a resonant sky. Speculative Depthuses NASA open data to guide audiences through time, becoming time travelers themselves.
